Attorney Paul Lundberg has practiced law in Sioux City since 1981. He is a knowledgeable and persuasive trial attorney who has litigated over 100 cases to verdict in the state and federal courts of Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota. Some of his areas of practice include but are not limited to litigation involving personal injury, wrongful death, medical negligence, premises liability, construction defect, insurance claims, product liability, professional liability, breach of contract, telecommunications, employment and civil rights.

Paul worked for Sioux City area law firms from 1981 to 2002, during this time his experience included managing a firm of nine lawyers. In 2002 he began operating his solo practice, which he would continue with for the next 20 years. In September of 2022 Paul made the decision to end his solo practice and join the Goosmann Law Firm as Senior Counsel.

Some of Paul’s notable cases include representing a manufacturer in libel action against national television network with a verdict of $1.5 million. Co-counsel for a widow in wrongful death action from fertilizer plant explosion, resulting in a $1.8 million settlement. Co-Counsel for a plaintiff in a suit for construction defects in grain storage facility, reaching a $2.2 million settlement.

Paul received his juris doctor with high distinction from the University of Iowa College of Law. Prior to his schooling he served in the United States Air Force from 1971 to 1974 as a Rank E-5 (Staff Sergeant). He is licensed to practice law in Iowa and is a Fellow of the Iowa Academy of Trial Lawyers and a former Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers (2007-2018).
